How do I set up two-factor authentication (2FA) for Freetrade Web?

You’ll be prompted to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) after setting up your password for the web platform.

You can choose to use both SMS text message and/or an authenticator app.

SMS text message:

Enter your phone number (without +44 or a leading 0).

Authenticator:

To use an authenticator app, you’ll first need to download one. Popular options include Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator.

Then, you’ll need to scan the QR code that appears on your screen using your authenticator app. Do not try to scan it using your camera, You’ll also have the option to enter an alphanumeric code instead.
