You can set up a Direct Debit easily in-app - you’ll just need to ensure you have a linked bank account set up in the app already.
First, make sure you’re looking at the account you’d like to set up the Direct Debit for, such as your GIA, for example.
To set up a Direct Debit:
Navigate to the ‘Linked bank account’ section on your Account tab
Tap ‘Set up’ on the Direct Debit option
Tap ‘Continue’
Enter the amount you’d like to deposit into your account each month
Set up your Direct Debit schedule by selecting the date you’d like the cash to leave your bank account - please bear in mind it will take 3 working days from this date for the cash to become available to invest in your Freetrade account.
Tap ‘Review Direct Debit’
Tap ‘Confirm Direct Debit’
You’ll then receive confirmation that your Direct Debit has been set up, and you will also receive confirmation via email.
Important! Please ensure that you set up your Direct Debit at least four working days before the initial scheduled payment date in order for the payment to be processed.
