Where will my Plus plan cash interest be applied?

Your Plus plan 5% cash interest will be added to your Freetrade account/s. In terms of where the interest is paid, we will give priority to the accounts in this order:

  • ISA

  • GIA

  • SIPP

For example, if you have £2,000 available cash in your ISA and £1000 in your GIA and £2000 in your SIPP, we will apply the interest to the £2,000 in the ISA first, and then to the £1,000 in the GIA, and then to the remaining £1000 of the £3,000 threshold in your SIPP. The interest payment will then be split accordingly between the three accounts.

Any interest paid to your ISA and SIPP does not impact your annual allowance as this is considered as a return on your investment and not a contribution.
