Can I make a standing order?

We do accept standing orders, however they will take longer to process as they require some manual intervention on our side.

This is because standing orders are received without all of the remitter's details. Our bank needs to wait for the money to clear before providing these, which can take 3-5 working days.

In the meantime, we can apply the money to your Freetrade account sooner, but we would require a PDF copy of your bank statement that shows the standing order payment leaving your account. Please contact us in-app by heading to the Portfolio tab > 👤 Profile icon > Contact us, or alternatively send a copy to [email protected] from the email address linked to your Freetrade account.

If you would like money to arrive on your account faster, normal instant bank transfers will arrive within a couple of minutes.
