What is a flexible ISA?
Updated over a week ago

An ISA, or Individual Savings Account, is a tax-efficient investment account that allows you to put money into a wide range of investments. You can put up to £20,000 into ISAs each tax year (your “annual allowance”). A UK tax year runs from 6 April to the following 5 April. Learn more about ISAs here.

When an ISA is “flexible”, you can withdraw money during the tax year and put it back without impacting your annual £20,000 allowance.

As of 11 July 2024, the Freetrade ISA is flexible.
