What to do if you become a victim of a scam ๐Ÿ™‡

It is essential you act as quickly as possible if you think you have become a victim of a scam.

Please contact your bank straight away - they will assist you with the next steps.

You should report all instances of fraud to Action Fraud either online or by calling 0300 123 2040. If you have become a victim of fraud and wish to discuss this further with someone or need further advice, Action Fraud have a team of specialist advocates working within the City of London Police that supports people who have fallen victim to fraud and cybercrime and this is referred to as The Action Fraud National Economic Crime Victim Care Unit (AF-NECVCU). You should also report whatโ€™s happened to the FCA either online or by calling 0800 111 6768.

If you are worried you have started an investment or pension transfer and now suspect a scam, contact your provider as soon as possible.
