Cash transfer

Only cash will be transferred from your current provider to a Freetrade SIPP. It can be done as a full or partial transfer.

If you make a full transfer, your provider will sell down any investments you may hold and transfer the proceeds as cash.

If you make a partial transfer, we will need to know the exact value to transfer and your provider may need to sell down investments if you do not have enough available cash.

In-specie transfer

Your current investments and cash will be transferred from your provider to a Freetrade SIPP. It can be done as a full or partial transfer.

If you make a full transfer, your provider will transfer all eligible investments and any cash you may hold.

If you make a partial transfer, we will ask you for the specific investments and cash value that you wish to transfer.
