After you set up your Freetrade account, you'll be asked to link it to a UK bank account or FCA regulated account that’s held in your name.
You should only ever deposit to your Freetrade account from this account and it's the only account you can withdraw funds to.
Important, this account must be:
- A personal account, rather than a company account
- Held in your name, not a family member's etc.
- A UK authorised bank account or FCA regulated account
- An account held in GBP currency only
We do accept certain e-money institutions at our discretion, these include WISE & Revolut. This does not include pre-paid cards or some e-money accounts like Monese. We can't accept money from these accounts and returning it can be a headache for you and us! Please do avoid!
