If you downgrade to Basic before 22 January 2026, you’ll still be able to hold or sell any existing funds or gilts you already own. From 22 January 2026, you’ll be able to buy mutual funds or gilts on any Freetrade plan, whether it’s Basic, Standard, or Plus.
