My mutual funds haven’t settled yet. Where are they?

Updated this week

Mutual funds can sometimes take longer to settle than exchange-traded products like stocks and ETFs.

This is because there are different processes behind the scenes to administer funds.

Once you put in an order to buy or sell a fund, the order is sent to the fund manager to process it. Orders will settle two days after the order has been executed by the fund manager.
