What’s happening?

To give people more value for money, we've redesigned our investment accounts and benefits so that our Freetrade customers now have a choice of three investment plans: Basic, Standard and Plus.

We’re updating our US stock list as part of this change.

What it means to you!

As a GIA-only customer, you’ll still be able to take advantage of commission-free trading (other charges may apply) and fractional US shares via our newly named Basic plan at no monthly charge.

As part of the launch of our Standard plan, we will be limiting the number of US stocks available on the Basic plan to a selection of the 500 largest, best known US companies.

This means that as a Basic plan customer, you’ll still have access to over 1,500 US, UK and European stocks and ETFs.

These changes to our range of stocks will be happening on 26th September 2022. Up until that time, you will still have access to all non-Plus stocks as normal. After that date, if you hold one or more stocks that has moved to our exclusive list, you will only be able to sell or hold the stock. To buy more, you would need to upgrade to our Standard or Plus plan.

If you'd like to open an ISA or SIPP, or get access to our full range of stocks and ETFs, you'll need to upgrade to our Standard or Plus plan.
