Once your securities have been loaned, they are transferred to the borrower who becomes the new legal owner of the security until the conclusion of the contract. Customers do not retain the right to vote on corporate actions if their shares have been lent out. If your shares are on loan and there’s a corporate action that we support, we will recall your shares before the record date so that you’re able to participate.
