Planned downtime on Saturday 31 October 2026 from 6 - 8AM

What's happening?

Planned downtime means that the app is intentionally taken offline for a specific reason, typically for maintenance and upgrades.

As mentioned in your app, we're carrying out some planned maintenance on Saturday 31 October 2026 from 6 - 8 AM.

What can I still do during the downtime?

You can log in and see your cash balance. Most other account features are unavailable until maintenance finishes. Everything you might have set up before the downtime is unaffected.

What won't I be able to do?

You won't be able to transact or access most of your account features.

This includes:

  • placing or queuing new orders

  • cancelling existing orders

  • browsing or searching investments

  • viewing your portfolio

  • viewing or creating new transfers

  • topping up from the Freetrade app

Why can't I place orders during this time?

Placing or queuing an order checks your account declarations, such as your ISA eligibility or your US tax declaration for US shares. These checks aren't available during the maintenance window, so ordering is paused until this maintenance is complete.

Do I need to do anything?

No, you do not need to take any action. Normal service will resume by 8 AM.
